Funded by the Smarter Choices, Smarter Places Active Nation Fund, North Ayrshire Council facilitated the Beat the Street project across their local communities. Consisting of a physical card and "beat boxes" across Scottish towns, schools and communities had the opportunity to earn points, win prizes and in turn encourage them to explore their local area, giving them the incentive to ditch the car and walk, wheel or cycle more.
