The Health Walk Agreement, which sets out the responsibilities of both walkers and Walk Leaders on Health Walks, has been translated into multiple languages by volunteers from Fife Migrants Forum and the Sole Sisters walking project.
The Health Walk Agreement is a key resource used by those delivering and taking part in Health Walks all across the country.
As well as English, the agreement is now available in German, Polish, Arabic, Italian, Lithuanian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, and Spanish.
Frances Bain, our Walking for Health Manager said: "The idea to translate the Health Walk Agreement initially came from one of our Scottish Health Walk Network members.
We're really pleased to be able to offer this resource in such a wide range of languages that are all used in Scotland. We're working hard to remove the barriers that some people face in joining Health Walks so that more of us can benefit from walking more in our communities.
"We'd like to say a huge thank-you to the volunteers at Sole Sisters and Fife Migrants Forum who took care of the translation."
A digital download of the agreement card in multiple languages is available to members of our Scottish Health Walk Network.
