When & Where

Please see the individual walks below for times and locations

Active Cairngorms Health Walks are short friendly walks, led by a local volunteer walk leader, for anyone who would like to feel better and meet new people in their community. The walks can last from 10 minutes to an hour, depending on how everyone feels on the day. Everyone is welcome regardless of ability, and all the walks finish with the chance for a cuppa and a blether! Take a look at the map of Health Walks in the area, you might be surprised at how close your nearest walk is!

There are a range of opportunities to become more involved: you might like to become a volunteer walk leader yourself, or take part in strength and balance exercises offered by many of our groups. We also encourage walkers to consider other activities.

There are 12 groups across the Cairngorms National Park area, coordinated by Cairngorms National Park Authority with the support of Paths for All.
