When & Where

Please see the individual walks below for times and locations

Montrose Community Trust’s Walk & Talk programme delivers three distinct walks each week catering for all ages and abilities. All walks leave from Links Park Stadium taking in the sights of Montrose including Montrose Beach, Harbour, Air Station and many more, before returning to the stadium for a well-earned cuppa and chat.

Montrose Community Trust owns a mini bus allowing our Thursday group to go on an outing once a month. This allows us to go further afield to explore the local area and neighbouring towns.

Our Walk & Talk programme benefits from a fantastic group of volunteers, all of whom are trained Walk Leaders through Paths for All, and are continually refreshing and updating their skills and knowledge. Volunteers are Dementia Friendly Walk Leaders and have also completed a course in Disability Awareness.

Montrose Community Trust was established in 2011, originally as Links Park Community Trust, with one very simple goal; to utilise the power and widespread appeal of sport to inspire change. Using the facilities provided by Links Park Stadium in Montrose, and alternative venues throughout Angus and the Mearns, Montrose Community Trust is developing and delivering an extensive range of innovative sporting, healthy and educational programmes, which are designed to meet identified local need.
