Join the Countryside Rangers for a short walk around Milngavie Reservoirs to stretch your legs, take in some fresh air, and have a natter with fellow walkers – we might even spot some wildlife enroute!
Our gentle walking routes range from 2-4km and last up to an hour, encompassing woodland, impressive Victorian infrastructure, and open views across the reservoirs out towards Glasgow and the wider Clyde Valley.
Whether you're looking to improve your fitness, connect with others, or simply enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, our friendly, guided walks offer something for individuals of all fitness levels and ages.
Please wear comfortable clothing that is suitable for the weather and bring a bottle of water; we recommend bringing a raincoat (just in case!) and wearing sturdy shoes to ensure your safety and comfort throughout the walk. You may also want to bring a flask with a hot drink to help keep warm.
This walk is FREE - you can book your spot via our EventBright link.
Meet at the James M Gale Memorial, Milngavie, Glasgow, G62 8HF on Wednesdays at 10:30am.
*Please note that there will not be a walk on February 26th or April 2nd
The Milngavie Reservoirs Countryside Rangers form part of a project team for the Blue-Green Network Partnership Project between East Dunbartonshire Council and Scottish Water.
