Volunteering

Join over 14,000 volunteers who are helping make your local community happy, healthy and active!

Volunteers are the most integral part of a Health Walk. From offering a friendly welcome at the start of the walk, to keeping participants safe, happy and refreshed throughout, volunteers make the hundreds of Health Walks taking place across Scotland fun, accessible and free!

Why are volunteers important to Health Walks?

Across Scotland, volunteers are leading and supporting over 850 regular Health Walks for Scottish Health Walk Network members.  Volunteers support the health and wellbeing of people in their communities as well as improving their own physical, mental and social wellbeing.

How do I become a volunteer?
